Bill Johnson aka “The Dream Dean”
Author
After a 34-year career in higher education administration, Bill Johnson retired in 2023 with a new mission: empowering faculty, staff, and administrators to become better versions of themselves in service to their students and their communities.
Drawing on his experiences, Bill has trained thousands of educators and community leaders, providing them with Life Design Catalyst activities, tools, and resources to develop impactful workshops, programs, and courses. Bill is also the co-author of a new book, “The Catalyst Way: A Guide to Unlocking Your Divine Potential” with his good friend Ivor Buffong.
Bill lives in Jamestown, North Carolina with his creative wife, Rebecca, and their loving dog, Laci.

Ivor Buffong is a UEFA Licensed soccer coach and Certified Life Design Catalyst Coach. With over 30 years of coaching experience from youth to professional level Ivor discovered that true leadership transcends developing athletic skills – it’s about developing purposeful people. As co-author of The Catalyst Way: A Guide to Unlocking Your Divine Potential Ivor guides individuals through systematic life transformation integrating spiritual growth, emotional health, physical wellness, professional development, and relationships. The proven frameworks – including the SPARCK model, Five Elements of Catalyst Transformation, and the simple yet powerful Catalyst Daily Review – have helped hundreds move from passive existence to purposeful living. Based in Greensboro, NC, Ivor continues coaching and training from a spiritual perspective while building a global movement of “Catalyst Disciples” who don’t just transform their own lives but become agents of profound change in their communities. His mission: help people design lives where their unique gifts create lasting impact for something greater than themselves.
